Studio Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Studio voice‑cloning feature in Alarm Announcer Pro ("the App"), published by bazzaztech (bazzaztech.com). By using Studio you agree to these terms.

1. What You Agree To

By using the Studio voice-cloning feature you confirm that:

• You are the owner of the voice being recorded, or you have explicit written permission from the person whose voice is being captured.
• You will not attempt to clone a voice that could be used to impersonate, deceive, or harass another person.
• You will not use generated voices for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• You are at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

2. Voice Data Processing

• Your voice recording is uploaded securely to our servers and passed to Cartesia, an AI voice synthesis provider, to generate a personalised announcement voice.
• Your recording is not stored on our servers — it is transmitted directly to Cartesia for processing and is not retained after synthesis completes.
• The voice model created during processing is automatically deleted by Cartesia immediately after your audio is generated.
• The generated audio is delivered directly to your device and is not stored on our servers.
• We do not sell, licence, or share your voice data with third parties beyond Cartesia, who process it solely to fulfil your request.

3. Intellectual Property & Local Storage

Clones generated from your voice are for your personal use inside Alarm Announcer Pro. You may share clone files with others via the in-app Share feature, but you may not distribute or commercialise cloned voice output.

Clones are stored on your device only. We do not back up your generated clones to any server. If you uninstall the app, clear its data, or move to a new device, your clones will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us. To preserve your clones, use the in-app Share feature in My Clones — tick all your clones and tap Share to export them together as a single .aaclone file, then save it somewhere outside the app (such as cloud storage or email) before uninstalling. You can reimport a .aaclone file at any time by opening it on a device with Alarm Announcer Pro installed.

4. Credits

Each clone generation costs credits. Credits are non-refundable once a job has been submitted. If a job fails due to a server error on our end, your credits will be automatically refunded, typically within minutes.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use Studio to create content that is hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, violent, or designed to mislead others about the identity of the speaker. We reserve the right to suspend access to Studio for any account found to be in breach of this clause.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Studio is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that the voice-cloning service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations. AI-generated audio quality depends on the quality of the voice sample you provide.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bazzaztech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Studio.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Studio feature after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The current version will always be published at this URL.
